CDSP OBEDIENCE TRIAL
Thursday, December 31, 2026

A CDSP Obedience Trial will be held at MasterPeace on Thursday, December 31, 2026. Opening date for this trial is October 31, 2026.  This trial is for Starter Novice, Novice, Open, and Utility.  This is a single trial show.

NACSW ODOR RECOGNITION TEST (ORT)
Sunday, February 7, 2027

An ORT will be held at MasterPeace on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2027.  Entries will open on Monday, Nov. 30, 2026 (no early birds, please).   Please read the premium for further details, including how to enter, and the refund policy for this event.  For this ORT, we will NOT be taking entries for second dogs with the same handler.  The premium and attached registration are below:

Leah Gangelhoff is returning to MasterPeace for a Nose Work weekend next March!

Patty Sontag (MasterPeace) and Dana Crevling (Dogs of Course) have collaborated to have Leah return to this area for an exciting and informative Nose Work weekend on March 13 & 14, 2027! The first day’s topic (hosted by MasterPeace), “Containers: The Path to Reliability – Recap and Next Steps,” will take place on Saturday; the second topic (hosted by Dogs of Course), “Sorting It Out: Studying How Dogs Decipher Complex Odor Environments,” will take place on Sunday!

Containers – we started with them on Day One, and yet they are the search that seems to give teams the most anxiety. If you missed Leah’s informative Container seminar last March, you don’t want to miss this one (and if you did attend, the morning session will be a terrific refresher)! She will do a recap of what was covered, and then move on to give even more steps for you to use to make your Container searches even more reliable! Bring back that happy, enthusiastic dog who searches containers eagerly, as you become the confident handler definitively calling alert!

Leah is engaging, knowledgeable, and presents her info in a clear, easy to understand way. She bring a wealth of experience, since she is a NACSW™ Senior Faculty member, a past NACSW™ Certifying Official thru Summit level, a NACSW™ Trial Judge, and a CNWI who has been involved in Nose Work since 2010.
